HORIZONTAL BLASTING: FLOORS

EBC is host to a wide range of dust free surface preparation technology. Included in our array of options to get the job done are our Horizontal Blast Units. At EBC, we utilize European Blasting Equipment machines which have many features specifically suited to our business.

Our most widely used machine is the 500E, a portable abrasive blasting system used on horizontal concrete and steel surfaces, designed specifically for use inside storage tanks. It can be disassembled and passed through a 24" tank opening to reach areas normally inaccessible to other machines. The electrically-powered, self-propelled 500E has a 20" blast pattern, and a variable travel speed control to provide a consistent blast pattern.
